The ponies at the breeding farm "Zum Morgenstern"

The German Riding Pony is described as a "miniatur warmblood" with refined, horse-like characteristics. You should not let yourself mislead by its small size (height 138-148). It has all qualities of a normal size horse.

Due to their great willingness to perform and their stamina, ponies are mainly used in sport horse competitions where they are mounted by children or adolescents but they can also be suitable for adults who are not that tall.

Furthermore, their equable and good-natured temperament and also their strength of character distinguish the ponies.

Our breeding is exclusively based on State Prize Mares : experienced mares as Caremilta and Madonna, but also very promising young ponies with different lineages (Destina, Delphi, Celestine) are a solid basis for our large breeding success .
